The Brooklyn New School is committed to academic and personal success for all students. We believe that children are creators of meaning. They are naturally thoughtful and curious, and they work to gain understanding of the world they inhabit. When the adults who care for children foster this effort, children become life-long learners.

BNS School Picture Day (Tue, Oct. 16)

BNS School Picture Day: We are excited to announce that for Picture Day this year we will be using Stomping Ground Photo. This company goes way beyond the typical stiff school portrait, capturing the essence of every child.

VOLUNTEER TO HELP! Please help us make Picture Day a big success by donating as much time as you can between 8:30AM and 3:00PM on Tuesday, October 16th, 2012!

Email to volunteer: PTA@BNS146.org

Join us for Project Day, October 13

Does your child's classroom need some shelving or homosote installed? Some hooks put up or taken down? Help us with bigger projects that may need special supplies or teams of parents to complete. We will be here from 9 - 4 pm, building, painting, repairing... If you have tools you can bring or woodworking skills, let us know. If you can volunteer to coordinate Project Day, email amysumner@bns146.org.

Curriculum Night, Monday, September 24
