5/19-23 BNS Spirit Week
The PTA Spirit Week Planning Committee invites you to join us in celebrating Spring Fling Spirit Week (May 19-23). We did our best to organize a week that is fun and EASY and that doesn't require a trip to the store. Please see below for details.
Monday, May 19 - Mismatch Monday
Keep it simple by wearing different socks and/or shoes. Or go crazy and wear clashing patterns, textures, etc.
Tuesday, May 20 - Crazy Hair Tuesday
Have fun with color and accessories or take your inspiration from NY Liberty Start Jonquel Jones' awesome Met Gala look.
Weds, May 21 - One Color Wednesday
Come to school dressed entirely in one color (top, bottom, socks, etc.). Let's see if any class can create a full rainbow of children (grey, black and white are great, too).
Thursday, May 22 - BNS Pride Thursday
Parents, show your BNS Pride tonight by coming to Spring Fling!
Kids can show their BNS Pride by wearing their BNS t-shirts, sweatshirts and other gear to school.
If you're looking to purchase BNS gear, you can do so here: https://www.bns146.org/shop. Please purchase by Monday, May 19 to ensure on-time delivery.
We want every child to be able to show off their BNS pride and strongly believe that owning a BNS t-shirt should not create a financial hardship for families - that's why BNS has long had the Families for Families program. Any grown up who would like their child to receive a free tee shirt through Families for Families, please email their child's name, classroom, and teacher's name to familiesforfamilies@bns146.org. This inbox is only accessible by select BNS staff members for distribution purposes and messages sent here are never visible to other families.
Families whose children have outgrown their BNS gear or who need to size up can use the "Free Box" social group on Konstella to make trades and do giveaways.
Friday, May 23 - Fancy Friday
Come to school dressed to impress in whatever makes you feel sharp, fabulous and "dressed up." (Please avoid sending students with accessories, as lost items could cause issues or disappointment for some students.)
