Introducing PS 456, opening in September 2024

PS 456 will be located at 489 State Street, Brooklyn, NY 11217 in a brand new, state of the art building:
PS 456 will have three classes of kindergarten and one pre-K in the fall of 2024, building one grade a year to fifth grade.
PS 456 will admit children from all over Brooklyn and will have a priority for low income families.
PS 456 will be led by Malika Johnson-Willis and will feature a student centered learning environment and a close collaboration with the Brooklyn New School, PS 146.
